The Story
On behalf of a federal agency, members of our team successfully implemented improvements to the client’s devops practices and implemented Ansible Tower automation; effectively enabling them to increase their release cycle velocity through increased efficiencies.
As a result of this integration, the client was able to improve security and efficiency around their deployment lifecycle. Implementation of Ansible Tower brought their devops practices in alignment with one of the key tenants of dev ops and cyber security best practices; Zero Trust.
What Did We Do
Members of our team worked in close collaboration with stakeholders and technical leads to identify major dependencies and chain-of-approvals processes to make the implementation of Ansible Tower a success.
In close collaboration with the enterprise infrastructure and OCISO groups, we successfully identified the necessary environments, dependencies and approval gates needed to implement Ansible.
To make the Ansible integration successful, we identified critical source and destination dependency configurations and role-based permissioning requirements that were necessary in order to Ansible to fully automate deployment across environments.
Our involvement in supporting the Company merger extended over a comprehensive three-year period, encompassing activities ranging from pre-merger due diligence to post-closing strategy.
